Ballet is a performing art. Dance classes often involves preparing for recitals, class demonstrations or performances. Learning and working in groups involves shared values. The class and the teacher wants the choreography to look good. The class and each individual within it, will only be as effective as they are willing to respect differences within the group and work together.
